Jeremy Worth is the Head of ICT and Building Services, responsible for overseeing operational support and strategic management across our four sites in Oxford. Leading a small, dedicated team of technical and specialist support staff, Jeremy plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth functioning across all locations. In his capacity as a senior member of the department, Jeremy provides advice on ICT and building/service management to the School Board and collaborates closely with the Head of School and Head of Administration and Finance.
Beyond his responsibilities in ICT, Jeremy also oversees building management activities, including coordination with external contractors, other units, and University Estates. His duties encompass diverse areas such as health and safety, security, audio/visual facilities, HVAC systems, reception, as well as the supervision and management of travel and fieldwork risk assessments.
Jeremy brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role, with a focus on project management, interoperability, requirements analysis, and innovation. He has served as a consultant to various departments, offering insights into web technologies, programming, and databases, with particular proficiency in Filemaker. Over the years, Jeremy has contributed significantly to the University's governance, having served on numerous senior committees and project boards, including a decade-long tenure as Chair of the University ICT Forum and its predecessor.
Jeremy works in the office Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and from home on Thursdays.
